Language Learning: French autoethnography
Phase 2
Phase 2 involves the identification of the potential relationships between the resource elements identified in Phase 1. There are four relationship types that can be used to further categorize resources and filters in the learner's EoR. These categories should be seen as tools that can be used to help identify relationships as well as organizational mechanisms:
2.1 Influences Relationships: positive or negative influences on learner access to available resources
2.2 Component Relationships: one element (resource/filter) is part of another (e.g. Subtraction is a part of Mathematics)
2.3 Typology Relationships: one element is a type of another (e.g. a kitchen is a type of room)
2.4 Social Relationships: e.g. between family members, friends or communities
The links below illustrate the output from an initial iteration through Phase 2:
the first offers a simple view of the resources and their inter relationships without the filter elements;
the second link connects to a more detailed exploration of the relationships between the filter elements and the resource elements; the third link offers a discussion of an example resource, and
the fourth offers a representation of this resource in the EoR model graphic.
